We said that the Black Friday buying season will begin earlier than usual this year. It looks like we were right. Target Deal Days, which will begin on October 6 and extend until October 8 . As stated in a press release on Thursday, September 22.
Sale at Target, or the Target Deal Days
To help customers easily buy for the holidays and make sure they get everything on their lists. Target has decided to kick off the season earlier than usual. In a press statement, Target’s executive vice president and chief growth officer Christina Hennington said,. “We want to make it as easy as possible for our customers to gather together with family ,and friends to experience the joy of the season.”
From October 6th through the 8th, guests without a Target membership can take advantage of the store’s. Deal Days event both in-store and online. Many thousands of discounted items will be available, including trendy toys and presents as well as necessities.
This deal is nearly a week ahead of schedule, as last year’s Deal Days sale began on October 10 and ended on October 12.
As soon as we have more information, we will let you know what kinds of discounts you may look forward to. The greatest deals will be listed here on October 6th, so be sure to check back then.
Matching prices in time for the holidays
Fear not if you’re thinking that the price of an item you want to buy during this deal will drop before or on Black Friday. On October 6, Target will also begin its Holiday Price Matching promotion. In a record-setting move, Target has extended its price-matching policy all the way through December 24.
As an example, if you purchase an item during Target’s pre-Black Friday Deals (known as Target Deal Days) and then see it marked down to half price during Target’s Black Friday Deals you can ask for a price match and receive the lower Black Friday price.
Strategic preparations for the holidays
The Day We Give Thanks:
Target will, as expected, be closed on Thanksgiving. The store announced that it will always be closed on Thanksgiving beginning in 2021. Nonetheless, this press statement included some additional details about Target’s preparations for the 2022 holiday shopping season.
Quick choices for both pickup and delivery:
The store has a number of alternatives for getting your order to you quickly, including same-day delivery with Shipt to get your order at your door in as little as an hour, and fast and free order pickup and drive-up orders in as little as two hours with no minimum purchase required.
Staffing needs:
Since Target is planning to hire 100,000 seasonal workers, we can assume that their in-store purchases will increase (and perhaps other retailers in 2022). It’s possible that this is just connected to how orders are processed. According to Hannington’s statement in the announcement, “we’re rolling out discounts sooner than ever and making sure our team is ready to let our guests buy when and how they want.”
Collaborating on toys for FAO Shwarz:
Target has just revealed its 10th annual Bullseye’s Top Toys list, which provides a glimpse into the year’s most anticipated toys. It was also announced that beginning in the middle of October, Target would be selling special toys made in collaboration with renowned toymaker FAO Schwarz.
