heavyweight

The 192 kg weight of the RE Classic 350 makes it heavier than other bikes in its class. The Jawa 300 weighs around 170 kg, so we can use it as a comparison. Overall top speed is a little slower due to the additional weight of 22 kg. Even though Royal Enfield isn’t known for figures like top speed or acceleration, a lighter version would improve the ride quality even further.

High price

The RE Classic 350 is essentially a Bullet 350 with a different design and added features, priced at INR 1.48 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). In comparison to the Bullet 350, it is around INR 20,000 more expensive due to the disc brakes and electric start. The on-road price of the Royal Enfield motorcycle is more than INR 1.70 lakh in many cities. Therefore, Royal Enfield should have offered a lower price tag. For INR 1.62 lakh (ex-showroom), you can get the Signals ABS version. 

Refinement issue

Thousands of fans have complained about engine noise, harsh vibrations, and false neutrals. Royal Enfield should address these problems. It is not every customer’s experience to go through the phase of spending INR 1.70 lakh (on-road) and still not being satisfied with the engine noise when idle, even though RE machines are built to stay longer.
